Summary
:Centrifuges are well-designed for research and clinical purposes depending on the model. The accuracy and sturdiness of Scilogex centrifuges allows them to be used in a multitude of applications, including pelleting of DNA and RNA samples, pelleting of PCR amplified nucleic acids, separation of antibody and protein precipitates, performing enzymatic tests, removing cell debris from cell homogenates, PRF and achieving bacterial and yeast cell fractionation.
MINI CENTRIFUGES
Mini-centrifuges are ideal for microfiltration and quick spin downs from the walls and caps of microcentrifuge tubes. The compact design takes up less than six inches of bench space. Easy open clear coloured lids are available in four colours. Simply close the lid for acceleration and open the lid for deceleration, or alternatively use the on/off switch to control.
CLINICAL CENTRIFUGES
The DM0412 and DM0412S Clinical Centrifuges are ideal for the separation of serum, plasma, urea, blood samples, PRF and other routine applications in hospital and research laboratories. The DM0636 is a multi-purpose model, offering a variety of fixed angle and swing-out rotors.
Clinical centrifuges have passed the explosion-proof test and are certified with CE, cTUVus and FCC. MCA test according to IEC/EN61010-2-20 including explosion-proof and bio-safe tests. Passed EN61010-2-101:2002 requirements for invitro diagnostic (IVD) medical equipment.
HEMATOCRIT CENTRIFUGES
The DM1424 Hematocrit Centrifuge is used for determination of volume fractions of erythrocytes in blood and also for separation of micro blood and solutions. The DM1424 conforms to international safety standards and regulations.
MICRO CENTRIFUGES
Microcentrifuges and Refrigerated Microcentrifuges are compact and powerful high-speed centrifuges used in physical and chemistry analysis, biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, clinical Labs and blood donation centers, and is ideal for high-end research applications including:
• Sedimentation of cells and viruses
• Separation of sub-cellular organelles
• Isolation of macromolecules such as DNA, RNA, proteins or lipids
CENTRIFUGE TUBES/ ACCESSORIES
Centrifuge Tubes are made from exceptionally strong ultra-clear Polypropylene(Dnase/Rnase free, non-pyrogenic <0.25 EU/ml) that allows for easy viewing of samples. They can be autoclaved at 121°C or frozen to –80°C. Sizes range from 0.5 to 50ml
• Sure Cap with compressible liner creates a stable seal
• Graduations are printed in bold easy-to-read black ink and are accurate to ± 2%
• 15mL tubes include a black printed 15mL graduation line and 0.5 and 1mL graduations molded into the conical bottom
• 15 & 50mL have large white marking area provides excellent contrast for identification
• All tubes are manufactured from medical grade virgin autoclavable polypropylene and have smooth, flat surface polyethylene (HDPE) caps
• Temperature range of -80°C to 121°C
• Max Force (RCF) 0.5, 1.5 & 2.0mL is 20,000g. 15mL is 12,000g & 50mL is 16,000g. (6000g for self-standing tubes)
• Sterile (gamma irradiated)
