When it comes to success in vitro fertilisation, precision and reliability of CO2 incubators are of utmost importance. Even minimal discrepancies in CO2 and O2 concentration, temperature or humidity can influence the development of the cell culture. To keep the recovery times of the ICO105med incubator to a minimum, Memmert has developed an IVF module with separate slide-in units for the Petri dishes. This CO2 incubator ICO med is classified as a class IIa medical device and complies with the basic safety requirements as stipulated in the European Medical Device Directive (93/42/EEC).

• Temperature range up to +50 °C

• Cultivating of Petri dishes in separate slide-in units: quick recovery times due to minimum air exchange

• Active humidity control: minimum vaporisation in the chamber interior, no condensation, no cultivation with oil required

In the laboratory, the incubator I is ideal for all applications with temperatures up to +80°C – specifically for incubating living cultures at +37 °C. Thanks to the finely-tuned control technology, critical temperature overshoots are completely ruled out, valuable loads are therefore warmed up particularly carefully in this highly precise microbiological incubator.
